Istanbul Hosts the
2025 Global Halal Summit to Promote Innovation and Arab-Islamic Trade
The 11th edition of the Global
Halal Summit 2025 is being held in Istanbul, alongside the Halal Expo 2025, an
international trade exhibition, with broad participation from Arab and Islamic
countries across various halal-related sectors.
The summit kicked off last
Wednesday under the auspices of the Turkish Presidency, in cooperation with the
Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries affiliated with the
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and in coordination with the Turkish
Ministry of Trade and the Turkish Halal Standards Authority.
This year, the summit carries
the theme “Innovation and Excellence in Halal Trade”, bringing together leading
figures in the global halal economic system. It is considered one of the most
important international events specialized in this vital sector.
The 2025 edition witnessed
notable participation from several Arab and Islamic countries, reflecting the
growing role of these markets in promoting trade and investment in halal
products globally.
