“Knights of
Knowledge and Literature”: Dr. Muhammad Watheq Al-Nadwi’s New Tribute to
Islamic Thought Leaders

Rashid
Publishing House in Lucknow, India, has released the first edition of the book Knights
of Knowledge and Literature, authored by Dr. Muhammad Watheq Al-Nadwi — a
member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars — consisting of 232
medium-format pages, published in the year 1447 AH / 2025 CE.

The book
compiles a collection of articles and impressions penned by the author on
various occasions, unified by a sincere purpose: to pay tribute to the knights
of thought and da’wah, and to acknowledge the roles of scholars, preachers, and
writers who contributed to building Islamic awareness and serving its heritage.

The book
sheds light on shining examples of influential Islamic figures, introducing
them to new generations in an emotional style far from academic embellishments,
combining loyalty, historical documentation, and appreciation.

Its
topics vary between introducing prominent Islamic works, eulogizing scholars,
and expressing feelings of belonging and allegiance to the intellectual school
the author belongs to — primarily the school of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Farid
Al-Hasani Al-Nadwi and Sheikh Muhammad Wadhih Rashid Al-Hasani Al-Nadwi.

The
author emphasizes that this work is not an analytical study but rather a
sincere record of heartfelt impressions, vivid observations, and messages of
love and loyalty to the leading figures of thought and da’wah who left their
marks on the nation’s journey.

This
publication is part of the author’s efforts to strengthen the connection
