Leader of the Islamic Jamaa: “Israeli Occupation Committing Genocide with U.S. Support and Global Silence”
The leader of Islamic Jamaa in Pakistan, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, has accused the Israeli occupation of committing genocide against Palestinians, highlighting U.S. backing and international silence on the atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank.
In a press statement, Hafiz Naeem stated that thousands of martyrs and millions of displaced people in Gaza suffer from blatant violations, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues what he described as “blatant terrorism” under the umbrella of U.S. support.
He emphasized that the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) is not a terrorist organization but a legitimate movement defending Palestinian rights.
He added:
“The Pakistani people have always stood by their Palestinian brothers. We support the oppressed and oppose the oppressors. Hamas is a crown on our heads, and the Pakistani government should officially recognize it and open an office for it in Islamabad.”
Calls for Islamic Action and Global Isolation of Israel
Hafiz Naeem urged the Pakistani government to play a more proactive role in supporting the Palestinian cause by boycotting Israeli products and diplomatically working to isolate Israel on the international stage.
He also called for providing education for Palestinian children and alleviating their humanitarian suffering.
Referring to the dire conditions in Gaza, where two million people live in harsh circumstances, he questioned:
“How can a small state like Israel stand against nations with armies and missiles, while the Islamic world lacks anyone to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque? Hamas is fulfilling its duty of safeguarding sacred sites on behalf of the Ummah.”
Double Standards in Global Politics
The Islamic Jamaa’s leader criticized what he described as American double standards, pointing out that the U.S., which labels Hamas as a terrorist organization, is itself responsible for historical crimes such as Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and the genocide of Indigenous peoples.
He remarked:
“America tolerates Indian terrorism in Kashmir while targeting Islamic missile technology.”
Call for an Emergency Islamic Summit
Hafiz Naeem called for convening an urgent Islamic summit that gathers the leaders of Islamic armies under the umbrella of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to send a strong message against Israeli crimes.
He stressed the importance of utilizing social media platforms to amplify the voices of Islamic nations and expose Israeli propaganda.
A Matter of Faith and Responsibility
Concluding his remarks, he stated:
“Palestine is not just a political issue; it is a matter of faith and a trust upon the shoulders of the Islamic Ummah. We stand with those who protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and against anyone who bombs it or supports aggression against it.”
