The International Union of Muslim Scholars confirms that resisting the occupier is a legitimate duty sanctioned by international law, and it is the duty of the Islamic nation to liberate its first Qibla and the occupied blessed lands. It clarifies to the world that the attacks of the occupying Zionists on Al-Aqsa and the Palestinian people through killing, destruction, and taking captives have exceeded all limits, with the international community sadly turning a blind eye. Therefore, the occupation government, in supporting the aggressor settlers and ensuring their security as they assault Al-Aqsa and its devoted worshipers, bears all the consequences arising from this. The “Al-Aqsa Storm” is an effective development of the legitimate, and indeed obligatory, resistance. It is the duty of the Ummah to stand with it, using all its capabilities, each in their position and to the extent of their power. We should never abandon our brothers in all of Palestine, especially in Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem, and proud Gaza, but rather support them. What we’ve mentioned is the consensus among Muslim scholars, past and present. It is supported by definitive evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. It’s also a requirement of sound nature and a straight mind. The human body does not accept anything foreign, and defending one’s land and repelling any attacker, regardless of their affiliation, is a necessity for sound nature and straight minds. Who can accept the occupation of their country, let alone their first Qibla and the ascension of their Prophet, peace be upon him? Allah says: “Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is capable of granting them victory.” [Surah Al-Hajj: 39].
