Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Friday to express their support for Palestine and their condemnation of the repeated incursions on Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli occupation.

The demonstrators waved Palestinian flags in the streets and chanted takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and slogans to express their unity, such as "To Jerusalem, we march, brave conquerors" and "Palestine, the land of Al-Isra, we all sacrifice for it."

Politician Murad Al-Adayleh spoke on behalf of the National Forum for Supporting the Resistance, reaffirming Jordan’s continuous support for Palestine and its people.

Al-Adayleh also denounced the flag march organized by settler groups under the protection of the Israeli police on the previous day and condemned the attacks on the worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He pointed out that the gathering of 3,000 Israeli soldiers to protect a march consisting of 5,000 settlers reflects the weakness of the Israeli entity and that without international support and Arab silence, it would not have continued.

He added that it is the resistance that defends Al-Aqsa Mosque and seeks its liberation.
