The Union Blesses and Supports
the “Fleet of Steadfastness” to Aid Gaza and Break the Siege (Statement)

The International Union of Muslim Scholars
appreciates and endorses the international humanitarian initiative, the “Fleet
of Steadfastness,” which comprises dozens of ships departing from European and
Maghreb ports.

Delegations from 44 countries are
participating in this initiative, including parliamentarians, activists, and
medical professionals, using civilian vessels bound for the Gaza Strip to break
the suffocating siege imposed by the Israeli occupation on innocent civilians.

This initiative constitutes a global message
of solidarity with the steadfast people of Gaza, delivering essential
humanitarian aid that helps alleviate their daily suffering and addresses
shortages of food, medicine, and basic services under the siege.

The Union calls upon the international
community to fulfill its humanitarian responsibilities, provide international
protection to the participating delegations, and ensure the safe delivery of
aid without threat or assault from the Israeli occupation.

It also urges the Muslim communities and
freedom-loving people worldwide to stand united with Gaza and support this
initiative by all available means, making it a global voice for justice and
humanity.

The “Fleet of Steadfastness” is not merely a
convoy of aid; it symbolizes the will of free peoples to uphold justice, defend
human dignity, and earnestly call for lifting the siege on the people of Gaza.
