Over 1,600 Female Students Complete Major Qur’anic Course at the
Grand Mosque: 55 Completions and 140 Full Memorization Reviews
The
Women’s Circles and Recitation Centers Department at the Grand Mosque
concluded, on Friday, the major summer enrichment course dedicated to the
memorization and review of the Holy Qur’an. The event witnessed remarkable
participation and enthusiastic engagement from female visitors.
The
blessed course began on the 25th of Dhul-Hijjah, 1446 AH, as part of a series
of educational and enrichment programs aimed at enhancing the experience of
female visitors, spreading guidance, and enabling them to perform their rituals
in a spiritual and balanced environment that promotes faith-based and
intellectual values.
A total
of 1,602 female students participated in the course, distributed across 62
Qur’anic circles within three diverse educational tracks, achieving notable
milestones, including:

55 students
completed the full recitation of the Holy Qur’an, using various Qira’at
(recitation styles).
·
140 students
completed the full memorization review of the Qur’an, with each student
reviewing the entire Qur’an twice.
This
course reflects the ongoing dedication to the Holy Qur’an and the strengthening
of Qur’anic circles in the Two Holy Mosques, contributing to the reinforcement
of Islamic identity and the fulfillment of the Two Holy Mosques’ mission to
spread knowledge and guidance to the world.
