The Zionist occupation expels Jerusalem Mufti Sheikh Muhammad
Hussein from Al-Aqsa for six months

The
Zionist occupation continued targeting religious figures in Jerusalem, as its
authorities today, Wednesday, handed a decision to expel Jerusalem Mufti Sheikh
Muhammad Hussein from Al-Aqsa Mosque for a period of six months.

The
Jerusalem Governorate explained via a Facebook post that the commander of the
occupation police in Jerusalem, Amir Arzani, issued a final decision to expel
the Sheikh immediately after the previous expulsion order, which lasted eight
days, expired.

The
occupation forces had arrested Sheikh Muhammad Hussein on July 25 inside
Al-Aqsa Mosque following a Friday sermon in which he condemned the starvation
policy imposed by the occupation on the people of the Gaza Strip.

Recently,
the occupation police have intensified the arrest and expulsion of Al-Aqsa
imams and preachers, having arrested last Friday the Jerusalem Chief Judge,
Sheikh Iyad Al-Abbasi, after he delivered a lesson addressing the genocide and
starvation in Gaza.
