Benin Hosts the
“FIRAM 2026” Islamic Ramadan Exhibition
The “FIRAM 2026” Islamic Ramadan
Exhibition kicked off yesterday, Saturday, February 14, in the Republic of
Benin, and will run until next Saturday, February 21, at the Medoumbo Sports
Stadium in the Akpakpa district of the economic capital, Cotonou.
The annual exhibition aims to
combine religious preparations for Ramadan with the promotion of economic
activity and community solidarity within the Muslim community.
A
Platform for Faith and Economic Activity
“FIRAM 2026” is considered one
of the most prominent Ramadan events in Benin, bringing together religious,
social, and economic dimensions. The exhibition provides a platform for
exhibitors and entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, particularly
in the areas of halal products and Ramadan-related activities, while attracting
thousands of visitors to enhance direct commercial engagement with a broad and
committed audience.
A
Diverse Program of Awareness and Community Services
The exhibition program includes
trade fairs, religious lectures and seminars, training workshops, and cultural
activities, in addition to congregational prayers, organized Iftar meals, and
the provision of various community consultations and services. This diversity
aims to offer an experience that combines worship, knowledge, and social
solidarity.
Invitation
for Partnerships and Initiatives
Organizers have extended an open
invitation to institutions and entrepreneurs to participate, either by
showcasing their products or joining as partners and sponsors, emphasizing that
the event represents an opportunity to strengthen community responsibility,
support the local economy, and reinforce values of solidarity during Ramadan,
while achieving a lasting religious, social, and economic impact.
“FIRAM 2026” reflects the
growing trend of organizing events that combine Islamic identity and community
development, highlighting the importance of Ramadan as a unifying occasion for
faith, work, and social cohesion.
