A moving video has been documented of a young British man reciting the Shahada (declaration of faith) to enter Islam at a mosque in the capital city of London.

The official account of the Leyton Islamic Center in East London shared the video, which shows the man, named Jensen, standing next to the mosque’s imam, Shaquille Begg.

When asked by the imam about what drew him to Islam, Jensen said that "scientific facts were the reason for choosing his new religion."

The center commented on the video, saying, "Scientific truths brought me closer to Islam. Brother Jensen recited his Shahada at Leyton Islamic Center. May Allah increase his faith, strengthen him, and guide him."

The video shows Jensen reciting the Shahada in both Arabic and English amidst a celebratory atmosphere.
