Were the First Words of the Quran about Genetic DNA?

Share the article on:

The first revealed words of the Qur’an tell us that the human species was created from the Arabic word GHALAQ. But the word doesn’t have a universally accepted meaning. Could GHALAQ be genetic chromosomes made from DNA?

This video presents evidence from biology, genetics, and linguistics that it might.

Note: “gh” is most often used to transliterate the Arabic letter “غ” not “ع”. So, my spelling of ghalaq is not a standard transliteration of the Arabic word علق. Most scholars would spell it as ‘alaq, and others as ealaq. In this post, I didn’t use standard transliteration tables because I felt the standard transliterations would be a distraction to non-Arabic speakers.
