Moving Moment: Sheikh Ali Al-San’ani Passes Away While Teaching the Qur’an in
Marib, Yemen
The Yemeni
governorate of Marib witnessed a moving and unexpected moment following the
death of Sheikh Ali Al-San’ani, one of the most prominent Qur’an memorization
teachers, while conducting a lesson for students at Noura Mosque in the Ramlah
area.
A video captured by
surveillance cameras showed the Sheikh sitting on his chair explaining a verse
from the Qur’an, before suddenly leaning to his right side in a calm moment
that turned into a shock for those present, as it later became clear that he had
passed away instantly.
Local sources
confirmed that Sheikh Al-San’ani dedicated many years to serving and teaching
the Qur’an, and he was widely respected among his students and the mosque’s
attendees, who described the moment as a “good ending” that every
believer hopes for, emphasizing the profound impact his passing left on them.
Arab social media
users, especially in Yemen, reacted strongly to the video, expressing their
grief and appreciation for the Sheikh’s educational and religious contributions.
