Mogadishu, Somalia: In a powerful denouncement, Somali scholars have forcefully condemned the Israeli acts of aggression and the systematic displacement and extermination faced by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The union holds a press conference with the attendance of a number of scholars to recite a fatwa on the duty of Islamic governments in confronting aggression.

A press conference was convened at the headquarters of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) in Doha, Qatar, at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. with several scholars from the Union in attendance, chaired by the Union’s Secretary-General, His Eminence Sheikh Ali Al-Qaradaghi.
