The
\nsecond session of the Qur\u2019anic Deductive Methodology Course will commence on
\nMonday, August 11, 2025, delivered by His Eminence Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi,
\nPresident of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), with the
\nparticipation of distinguished scholars, preachers, and students of Islamic
\nstudies who attended the first session.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ncourse is organized under the supervision of the International Union of Muslim
\nScholars.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This
\nsession continues an academic journey aimed at deepening reflection on the Holy
\nQur\u2019an and deriving its guidance according to the \u201cFiqh al-Mizan\u201d methodology,
\nwith a focus on two main themes: the comprehensive system of maqasid
\n(objectives of Sharia) and the principle of unrestricted public interests
\n(masalih mursalah).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nthree-day program will run from Monday to Wednesday, August 11\u201313, at the Omat
\nFoundation headquarters in Istanbul.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Renewing the Islamic Sciences<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\ncourse is built upon over fifty years of scholarly and intellectual expertise
\nby Professor Dr. Ali Mohiuddin Al-Qaradaghi, President of the IUMS.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He grew
\nup in a traditional scholarly environment, memorizing classical texts and
\nstudying Sharia and Islamic economics, before earning his master\u2019s and PhD
\ndegrees in Sharia and law.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He also
\ntaught at Qatar University, dedicating his efforts to understanding and
\naccurately applying Sharia texts.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Through
\nthis extensive experience, he recognized the need to renew traditional Sharia
\ncurricula, which often focus on partial interpretations without fostering a
\ncomprehensive analytical mindset that meets the needs of the modern era. He
\ndevoted more than fifteen years to authoring a scientific encyclopedia that
\nharmonizes authenticity with contemporary relevance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It is
\nnoteworthy that the first scientific session on \u201cThe Qur\u2019anic Deductive
\nMethodology and Fiqh al-Mizan\u201d was held from Monday to Wednesday, August 4\u20136,
\nat the Omat Foundation headquarters in Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
