His Eminence Sheikh Prof. Dr.
\nAli Mohieddin Al-Qaradaghi, Secretary-General of the International Union of
\nMuslim Scholars (IUMS), received today, Saturday, the Egyptian journalist and
\nmedia personality Qutb Al-Arabi in his office at the Union\u2019s new main headquarters
\nin the Qatari capital, Doha. This marked Al-Arabi\u2019s first visit to the Union\u2019s
\nnew premises.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting, Qutb
\nAl-Arabi affirmed his full support for the IUMS\u2019s role in promoting Muslim
\nunity, advancing the nation, and addressing the phenomenon of Islamophobia. He
\nalso praised the intellectual and scholarly efforts undertaken by the Union
\nduring this pivotal stage.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the visit,
\nQutb Al-Arabi presented Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi with a copy of his recently
\npublished book, \u201cMorsi and the Media: The Battle of Memory \u2013 An Insider\u2019s
\nPerspective\u201d, which provides a documented account from inside the \u201cmedia kitchen\u201d
\nand represents the first comprehensive documentation of media management during
\nthe presidency of the late President Mohamed Morsi.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The book aims to reveal the
\ntruth and refute the falsehoods that targeted the image of the martyred
\npresident and his brief period in office, through a professional and analytical
\nreading based on first-hand experience of the events. May Allah have mercy on
\nhim.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
