Islamic Union for Muslim Scholars.\u00a0IUMS condemns the kidnapping of more than 200 girls in Nigeria by<\/p>\n
“Boko Haram\u201d<\/p>\n
\u00a0Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon his Messenger, and upon his family, companions, and allies.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
IUMS received the news of kidnapping girls from their schools, on an ongoing basis from April 14 until today, in Nigeria by “Boko Haram\u201d, with deep sadness and regret, toward believes and actions of some Muslims that are far away from Islamic Sharia\u2019a that spreads mercy to the world, and deny such crimes. The Union insures that such acts doesn\u2019t belong to Islam, and are very far from Islamic teachings. The Union considers these crimes offensive to Islam, and increase hatred against Muslims.<\/p>\n
IUMS condemns the terrible crimes, and assure the following:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022Islam is a religion of mercy to the worlds, which give women\u2019s right a great care by all regulations and legislations, therefore the kidnapping of girls considered a forbidden act, a major sin, immorality, and corruption in societies. And Islam sets to such act the most severe regulations. Allah Almighty said <\u00a0>{AL MAIDAH 33}. Hence Union criminalizes kidnapping girls in Nigeria by “Boko Haram\u201d or others, and even considered it an unforgivable crime against humanity, this act calls for the toughest punishment. IUMS warns from selling these girls or compromising their freedom, or enforce them to marriage. Its \u00a0forbidden to anyone to Participate in these awful acts, through selling or enforce marriage, or any order undermines the freedom, honor, and chastity of these girls.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022Union demands “Boko Haram\u201d to be reasonable, and to obey Islamic Sharia\u2019a instituted on Quran and Sunnah. And to immediately release the girls, and to keep civilians away from any political conflict. As stated in the Quran and Sunnah.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022IUMS insures that such acts doesn\u2019t belong to Islam, and are against Islamic Sharia\u2019a, conventions, norms, ethics, and human values.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022IUMS demands the authorities in Nigeria, to work actively, to restore these girls to their parents, and intensify the search for places of their presence, also demands to apply wisdom and justice, to restore security and safety to Nigeria.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022Union calls Christian brothers not to stir conflict and militancy on the Nigerian land, or do what hurts the Muslims feelings, and asks them to work as humankind brothers with equal right for all Nigerians of different religions.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\u2022IUMS calls on all fighting parties in Nigeria, to deeply study the reasons of conflict in order to help find solutions, which prevent the spread of clashes and disagreement, and move forward toward development, growth, and construction, rather than decline and demolition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
