Statement
\nof Condemnation for Israel’s Crimes in Palestine and Lebanon<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars is deeply saddened by the ongoing crimes
\ncommitted by the occupying Zionist forces in Gaza and Lebanon, along with the
\nuse of all types of deadly and destructive weapons against the very fabric of
\nlife and infrastructure.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars expresses its strong condemnation and
\ndeep outrage at the brutal crimes and gross violations perpetrated by the
\nZionist occupation forces against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These
\nrepeated assaults are a grave injustice and a significant corruption of the
\nearth, as Allah says: \u201cAnd they strive throughout the land [causing]
\ncorruption, and Allah does not like corrupters\u201d (Al-Ma’idah: 64). They
\nrepresent tyranny and a blatant violation of all religious laws, international
\nstatutes, and humanitarian principles.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

What is
\noccurring in terms of killings and destruction in Palestine and Lebanon, along
\nwith the targeting of children, women, and the elderly, in addition to the
\ndestruction of homes, schools, and hospitals, are unjustifiable criminal acts
\nthat contradict humanitarian principles and the ethics of war. These acts are
\ncrimes against humanity and life itself, which must be denounced by all
\nindividuals who seek to prevent and oppose them by all legal and political
\nmeans possible.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These
\nactions, aimed at destroying infrastructure, displacing civilians, and
\ninstilling fear and terror in the hearts of innocents, constitute a direct
\nassault on the right of peoples to live freely and safely on their own land.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nfulfilling its religious duty, the Union emphasizes the following:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

1.     
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>We affirm the right of peoples to defend themselves
\nand reclaim their usurped rights, and we declare our full solidarity with the
\nPalestinian and Lebanese peoples in their legitimate struggle against
\noccupation and aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

2.     
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>We stress the necessity of holding the perpetrators of
\nthese crimes accountable and applying international justice against them. The
\nIslamic nations and all free peoples and their governments must bear the
\nreligious, humanitarian, and ethical responsibility to pursue this matter.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

3.     
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>We call upon the international community, the United
\nNations, and human rights organizations to intervene immediately to halt these
\ncrimes and provide urgent protection for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

4.     
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span>Concrete measures must be taken to impose punitive
\nsanctions on the Zionist occupying state and to halt all forms of support that
\ncontribute to the continuation of its occupation and aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

And Allah is
\nthe Bestower of success.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
