The International Union of Muslim Scholars Warns Against the Collapse of Legal and Humanitarian Values and Rejects the Punishment of the International Criminal Court (Statement)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The International Union of Muslim Scholars<\/strong> warns of the grave consequences resulting from the collapse of the legal, ethical, humanitarian, and international system.<\/p>\n

The Union stands in solidarity with the free and humane world in rejecting the U.S. President\u2019s decision to sanction the International Criminal Court<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Statement Text:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The International Union of Muslim Scholars<\/strong> closely follows global developments, particularly the actions of the United States of America<\/strong>, which continues to stand by the Zionist occupation<\/strong> during its genocidal war on Gaza<\/strong>, in blatant violation of international laws, human rights, and ethical principles.<\/p>\n

The recent executive order imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court<\/strong> is an alarming precedent that signals the collapse of international justice, global peace, and security<\/strong>. It renders the decisions of the United Nations<\/strong> and the international laws it has ratified effectively meaningless.<\/p>\n

In light of this critical situation<\/strong>, the International Union of Muslim Scholars<\/strong> affirms the following:<\/p>\n

    We stand with the free world<\/strong>\u2014Arab, Islamic, European, Russian, and Chinese\u2014in rejecting this decision<\/strong> and consider it a dangerous precedent<\/strong> in the history of the United Nations<\/strong>, its member states, and humanity as a whole.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    We warn of the serious consequences<\/strong> this decision will have on the international system<\/strong>, global peace<\/strong>, and justice<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    This decision effectively criminalizes those who defend justice, while protecting<\/strong> and legitimizing<\/strong> those who commit the most heinous crimes. It reverses divine and natural laws, violating the principles of justice, morality, and international order<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    However, such injustice will not endure, as Allah states about past tyrannical nations:<\/p>\n

    \u201cWho transgressed in the lands (11) and spread corruption therein (12), so your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment (13). Indeed, your Lord is ever watchful.\u201d<\/em> (Al-Fajr: 11-14)<\/p>\n

    True power lies in justice, truth, and mercy<\/strong>, not in oppression, falsehood, and brutality<\/strong>. Injustice will perish, falsehood will collapse, and truth will ultimately prevail<\/strong>, as these are the unchanging divine laws.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    “And Allah has full control over His affairs, but most people do not know.”<\/em> (Yusuf: 21)<\/p>\n
