Statement of the World Union of Muslim Scholars on the Crisis of
\nValues and the Collapse of the Global Ethical System<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the
\nWorlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, sent as a
\nmercy to all the worlds, and upon his family and companions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The World Union of Muslim
\nScholars follows with deep concern the unfolding ethical crises that clearly
\nindicate the collapse of the global moral system, striking at the very
\nfoundation of the contemporary world order. The most recent manifestation of
\nthis was the so-called \u201cEpstein Island\u201d scandal, which exposed the involvement
\nof political, economic, and academic elites in shocking practices that
\nundermine human dignity, violate the most basic rights of women and children,
\nand reveal the stark contrast between the proclaimed human rights and the dark
\nreality imposed by certain circles of global influence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This scandal is not an isolated
\nincident but a serious indicator of a major moral crisis facing the world,
\nwhere ethical standards are absent, natural human instincts are exploited, and
\nmoney, power, and pleasure are prioritized over every human or religious
\nconsideration.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In light of this
\nmajor ethical crisis, the Union affirms the following:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

First: Strong
\nCondemnation of Exploitation<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

All forms of sexual exploitation
\nand human trafficking are to be condemned as grave crimes in the eyes of
\nSharia, reason, and humanity, requiring fair accountability without
\ndistinction, political immunity, or financial protection.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Second: Double
\nStandards<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This issue has revealed the
\nextent of double standards in international discourse and among senior
\npoliticians. While slogans defend women and children, influential figures are
\ninvolved in violating those very rights. Networks of influence and blackmail are
\nused to sway political and economic decisions within various countries, posing
\na direct threat to the sovereignty and ethical and political independence of
\nstates.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Third: Roots of
\nthe Crisis<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The moral decay, erosion of
\nprinciples, and deviation from sound human nature witnessed today are a direct
\nresult of the exclusion of true religion from life and the elevation of desire
\nand material gain as the sole measure of human behavior.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The

Fourth: The
\nSolution in Divine Values<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Humanity urgently needs a fixed
\nethical reference that restores human dignity, gives life meaning, and instills
\nconscience in politics.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Islam, with its firm creed and
\nnoble ethics, offers a comprehensive system that preserves human dignity,
\nprotects women, safeguards children, and imposes strict ethical limits on
\npower, wealth, and influence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

As Allah

Fifth: A Practical
\nCall<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Union calls for:<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>The
\nestablishment of independent and transparent international investigative
\ncommittees to hold all perpetrators accountable without exception.<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>The
\nprotection, compensation, and restitution of victims.<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Initiating
\na serious global dialogue on restoring the role of religious ethics in
\ninternational legislation and policies.<\/o:p><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Sixth: Convening a
\nGlobal Islamic Ethics Summit<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

To develop a civilizational and
\nhuman project based on divine values, contributing to rescuing the world from
\nrapid moral decline.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The world will not be saved by
\nslogans or fluctuating interests, but by steadfast values that subject humanity
\nto the oversight of conscience and the Lord of all worlds.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

We ask Allah Almighty to guide
\nhumanity to the right path, return it to sound human nature, and make our
\nnation a witness of truth and justice among people.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Allah is the Grantor of success.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
