Sheikh
\nDr. Ali Muhammad al-Sallabi, Secretary-General of the International Union of
\nMuslim Scholars (IUMS), described the assassination of the Al Jazeera news crew
\nin the Gaza Strip as \u201ca clear act of terrorism aimed at silencing the truth and
\neliminating witnesses to the crimes of the Zionist occupation.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\naffirmed that targeting civilian journalists\u2014whose only \u201ccrime\u201d was conveying
\nthe reality of what is happening in Gaza\u2014represents a dangerous escalation in
\nthe criminal policies of the Zionist entity. He pointed out that, through this
\ncrime, the occupation seeks to prevent the truth from reaching the world and to
\npave the way for committing \u201can even more horrific massacre than what we have
\nwitnessed so far.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He added
\nthat this crime took place in the complete absence of any real international
\ndeterrence or accountability for the leaders of the occupation, under ongoing
\nWestern and American cover and support\u2014something that encourages the occupation
\nto continue its bloody war against Palestinian civilians.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nwarned that the occupation\u2019s machinery is \u201ca criminal machine that respects no
\nhuman value,\u201d stressing that the assassination of journalists is part of a
\nsystematic plan to silence the voice of truth and prevent any witnesses to war
\ncrimes. He asked, \u201cIf those who convey the truth are targeted, how can we trust
\nthat the crimes will not escalate and become more brutal?\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nemphasized that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide that has crossed all
\nlimits, and that it is no longer acceptable at any level for these crimes to
\ncontinue. He stressed that the world bears a great responsibility today to curb
\nthis behavior and put an end to it.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nrenewed the call for urgent action from the Arab and Islamic worlds to end this
\ntragedy, noting that \u201cPalestine is the strongest bulwark against Zionist
\nschemes, and if it falls, the rest of the Arab world will fall one after the
\nother.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nexplained that this crime is not separate from the occupation\u2019s overall policy
\nin the Gaza Strip, which he described as \u201ca genocide that has crossed all
\nlimits,\u201d warning of the dangers these policies pose to the security and
\nstability of the entire region.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nconcluded by stressing that the battle in Gaza between truth and falsehood
\ncontinues, and that the martyred journalists had fulfilled \u201ca great mission in
\nexposing injustice and oppression,\u201d affirming that in the end, victory will
\nbelong to truth and justice.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Al-Sharif\u2026 the Voice and Resilience of Gaza<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Since 7
\nOctober 2023, Zionist occupation forces have waged a campaign of genocide in
\nGaza. For 22 months, Al-Sharif and Quraiqa documented the consequences of
\nrelentless bombardment.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Al-Sharif
\nwas subjected to extensive incitement campaigns, and his home in the Jabalia
\nrefugee camp was bombed in December 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of his
\nfather.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

His page
\nadministrators on \u201cX\u201d posted his will, written in April 2023, in which he said:
\n\u201cI urge you to stand by Palestine\u2014the jewel of the crown of the Muslims\u2014and its
\noppressed children. Do not forget Gaza, and be bridges for its liberation.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Gaza Under Genocide\u2026 Thousands of Martyrs<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

With
\nAmerican funding and support, the Zionist occupation continues its genocidal
\nwar on Gaza\u2014marked by killing, starvation, destruction, and forced
\ndisplacement\u2014while ignoring international appeals and rulings from the
\nInternational Court of Justice.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ngenocide has resulted in the killing of more than 61,000 Palestinians and the
\ninjury of over 153,000, the majority of them children and women, in addition to
\nmore than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands displaced. It has
\nalso caused famine that has claimed 217 lives, including 100 children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
