Marrakech Hosts Youth of the Islamic
\nWorld in an International Event to Promote Cultural Exchange, Development, and
\nPeace<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The activities of \u201cMarrakech \u2013 Capital of Youth of the
\nIslamic World 2025\u201d recently kicked off on July 1st, with the participation of
\naround 200 young men and women from more than 48 member states of the
\nOrganization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This international event is organized by the Ministry
\nof Youth, Culture and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco, in cooperation
\nwith the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), the youth arm of the OIC.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The program comes as part of the celebration of
\nMarrakech being designated as the Capital of Youth of the Islamic World. It
\nspans five days and features a variety of activities encompassing intellectual,
\ncultural, artistic, and sports dimensions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The events include open dialogue sessions and youth
\nforums addressing key issues such as democracy, peace and security, cultural
\nidentity, as well as the role of youth in achieving sustainable development.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The program also offers training workshops in various
\nfields aimed at building youth capacities and enhancing their leadership
\nskills.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Among the highlights of the program is the
\nInternational Youth Forum under the theme: “Youth of the Islamic World:
\nPost-COVID Challenges”, which seeks to empower young people to develop
\ninnovative solutions to crises, promote their engagement in addressing social
\nand economic challenges, and support the values of solidarity, coexistence, and
\ncultural exchange among the peoples of the Islamic world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
