Ongoing Massacres and a Suspicious Global Silence<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nAlgerian Association of Muslim Scholars issued a strongly worded statement on
\nSunday, July 27, condemning the atrocities committed against the Palestinian
\npeople in Gaza, describing the situation as “the most horrific in modern
\nhistory.” The statement denounced the suffocating siege and bloody
\nmassacres occurring amidst a suspicious Arab and international silence, and a
\ncomplete failure to take any effective action to rescue the wounded and the
\nstarving.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nstatement \u2014 a copy of which was received by the Media Office of the
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars \u2014 stressed that the Zionist occupation
\nis “rampaging without deterrence,” preventing humanitarian
\norganizations from carrying out their duties, and turning what it calls relief
\noperations into deadly traps.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Praise for the Resistance and a Call for Popular Mobilization<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nAssociation praised the Palestinian resistance, which it said “disorients
\nthe occupation and spreads fear in its ranks,” affirming the Palestinian
\npeople’s right to defend their freedom by all forms of resistance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It
\ncalled on Arab countries to allow their people to express their anger and
\nsupport for Gaza, warning that the silence of governments will be recorded in
\nthe darkest pages of history.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nstatement emphasized that popular solidarity must remain disciplined and
\npreserve national stability. It also condemned the shameful inaction of many
\nArab and Islamic countries, urging “urgent measures to open the crossings
\nand allow the entry of aid.”<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Commendation for Algeria\u2019s Stance and a Call to Sever Ties with
\nthe Occupation<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nAssociation commended Algeria’s “honorable” role in international
\nforums and its firm rejection of normalization with the occupation, emphasizing
\nthat this principled stance is facing pressure and conspiracies. It urged the
\nprotection of Algeria\u2019s national position as a vital support for the
\nPalestinian cause.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It
\nfurther called for supporting all forms of mobilization to break the siege, and
\nactivating economic boycotts against the enemy, asserting that any dealings
\nwith the occupation amidst its crimes are “a parallel crime, no less than
\nthe killing itself.”<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nAssociation affirmed that the protection of Palestinian blood is a shared
\nresponsibility of all Muslims, and called on Arab regimes to sever ties with
\nthe occupation, to renounce “the crime of normalization,” and to
\ndeclare a united stance that reflects morality, dignity, and humanity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nstatement concluded with a prayer that these words would be transformed into
\naction, and that God would guide the Ummah to wise decisions that preserve
\nlives and uphold dignity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
