Malaysia Launches \u201cQur\u2019an Everywhere\u201d
\nProgram in Conjunction with the 2025 International Qur\u2019an Recitation and
\nMemorization Competition<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM)
\nhas announced the launch of a special program titled \u201cQur\u2019an Everywhere:
\nRecitation and Reflection\u201d, to coincide with the 65th International Qur\u2019an
\nRecitation and Memorization Competition, scheduled to take place from August 2
\nto 9, 2025, at the World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

JAKIM\u2019s Director-General, Sirajuddin Suhaimi, explained
\nthat the program aims to strengthen the presence of the Qur\u2019an in the daily
\nlives of Muslims by emphasizing correct recitation and deep contemplation of
\nits meanings. He stressed that engagement with the Qur\u2019an should not be
\nconfined to official events, but should become an integral part of the Islamic
\nway of life at all times and in all places.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He added that activities will be held in Islamic centers,
\nmosques, religious venues, and selected social spaces to enable participants to
\nexperience a personal and impactful connection with the Qur\u2019an.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The program also includes a special initiative under the
\nsame title, \u201cQur\u2019an Everywhere,\u201d in the Bukit Bintang area. This initiative
\naims to deliver the message that the Qur\u2019an is a living and accessible guide,
\nconstantly available for reference, regardless of location or occasion.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The program enjoys broad support from various entities,
\nincluding JAKIM\u2019s Secretariat, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), educational
\ninstitutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and a number of
\nmosques\u2014support that significantly enhances the program\u2019s chances of success
\nand community outreach.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
