The
\nQatari Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has launched a pioneering
\ninitiative titled \u201cParent Follow-Up Day\u201d, aimed at strengthening integration
\nbetween families and Quran learning centers, and supporting the role of parents
\nin the educational process.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

According
\nto the ministry\u2019s statement issued on Sunday, the initiative designates the
\nfirst Sunday of every Gregorian month for parents to attend and follow up on
\ntheir children\u2019s progress in Quranic centers across various parts of the
\ncountry. This aims to enhance constructive cooperation between home and center
\nto achieve educational and moral objectives.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nministry stressed that the direct presence of parents serves as support for
\nstudents, boosts their motivation, and contributes to improving the efficiency
\nof the educational process while enhancing communication between all parties
\ninvolved.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nfirst visit under the initiative, held on August 3, saw the participation of
\n1,262 parents in 149 Quranic centers. Activities included one-on-one meetings
\nwith teachers, guided tours of the centers, and the creation of WhatsApp groups
\nto follow up on memorization and revision.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Parents
\npraised the initiative, considering it a means to reinforce their children\u2019s
\ncommitment to Quran memorization circles and to help build a well-balanced
\nQuranic personality. Students also affirmed that their parents\u2019 presence gives
\nthem motivation and a sense of care, while center directors commended the
\ninitiative for its positive impact on both students and teaching staff.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nMinistry of Awqaf continues its efforts to support Quran learning centers for
\nboys and girls by developing educational plans, supervising teachers\u2019
\nperformance, and organizing Quranic activities, with the goal of graduating a
\nconscious generation that memorizes the Book of Allah, embodies its morals, and
\ncontributes to building a society grounded in values, faith, and Islamic
\nidentity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
