The 45th Edition of the King Abdulaziz International Quran

The
\nactivities of the 45th edition of the King Abdulaziz International Competition
\nfor Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Quran continued, having started
\non Saturday, August 9, 2025, within the precincts of the Grand Mosque in
\nMakkah, under the organization and supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic
\nAffairs, Dawah, and Guidance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ncompetition witnesses the participation of 179 contestants from 128 countries
\naround the world, competing in five categories covering the fields of
\nmemorization according to mutawatir readings, recitation, and interpretation,
\nat various levels ranging from memorizing the entire Quran, fifteen parts, and
\nfive parts.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ncompetition will continue until August 20, with total prizes amounting to four
\nmillion Saudi Riyals, including 500,000 Riyals awarded to the first-place
\nwinner in the first category, reflecting the Kingdom\u2019s strong support for
\nQuranic programs and serving the Book of Allah.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nannual King Abdulaziz International Competition aims to gather an elite group
\nof Quran memorizers from around the world in the holiest place on earth, to
\npromote Quranic values of moderation and balance, spread goodness, and confront
\nintellectual deviations, thereby contributing to the consolidation of Islamic
\nand Quranic culture at both local and global levels.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
