Al-Qaradaghi Condemns Assassination of Journalists in Gaza: \u201cThe
\nVoice of Truth Cannot Be Silenced\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

His
\nEminence Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi, President of the International Union of
\nMuslim Scholars, strongly condemned the assassination of the Al Jazeera media
\nteam in Gaza City, offering his sincere condolences to the network\u2019s management
\nand the families of the martyrs. He affirmed that the voice of truth cannot be
\nsilenced or assassinated.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a
\ntweet on his X account, Sheikh Al-Qaradaghi described Al Jazeera as an
\nhonorable media beacon for the Ummah, raising the flags of free speech and
\ndefending the truth, despite the political, financial, and economic abandonment
\nthe Ummah suffers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nconfirmed that the bombing of the journalists\u2019 tent resulted in the martyrdom
\nof correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Muhammad Qreiqah, photographers Ibrahim
\nDhaher and Moamen Aliwa, and the crew driver Muhammad Nofal. He regarded the
\ntargeting of journalists as a fully-fledged war crime and a blatant violation
\nof international covenants and divine laws.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Sheikh
\nAl-Qaradaghi emphasized the necessity of uniting legal, media, and human rights
\nefforts to document the crime, prosecute the perpetrators before international
\ncourts, and expose the occupier\u2019s brutality to the global public without
\nreservation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\ncalled on all the peoples, governments, institutions, and individuals of the
\nUmmah to support Gaza by all available means\u2014through words, demonstrations,
\npolitical pressure, urgent relief, or media campaigns to break the siege on the
\ntruth.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He
\nconcluded: \u201cThe blood of the martyrs is a trust, and Gaza today is a test field
\nfor every free person with a living conscience; either we stand where we must,
\npleasing God, or we leave history to record upon us the disgrace of silence and
\ninaction.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nU.S. support, the Israeli occupation has been committing a genocide in Gaza
\nsince October 7, 2023, resulting in more than 61,000 martyrs and over 154,000
\ninjured, most of them children and women, along with more than 9,000 missing
