Qatari Endowments Concludes \u201cAbjad\u201d Program with the
\nParticipation of 326 Children<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\nQatari Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, represented by the
\nDepartment of Da\u2019wah and Religious Guidance, concluded the \u201cAbjad\u201d course, one
\nof its most prominent Qur\u2019anic and educational programs for children aged 5 to
\n9. The program was held over an entire month in three mosques across Doha.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

326 Participants<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A total
\nof 326 students took part in the program, attending four days a week (Sunday to
\nWednesday) during the morning hours from 8:00 to 11:00. The sessions were
\nhosted at Ibrahim Hassan Al-Osaimakh Mosque in Al-Thumama, Hamad bin Nasser
\nMosque in Hazm Al-Markhiya, and Saud bin Abdullah Al-Naqdan Mosque in South
\nMuaither.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Learning and Discipline<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\ncourse focused on teaching \u201cAl-Duroos Al-Hijaiyyah\u201d (The Alphabet Lessons), the
\napproved textbook in Qur\u2019an learning centers, where students learned the Arabic
\nletters and correct pronunciation skills. Participants were divided into
\neducational levels ranging from beginners to advanced learners.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nchildren also memorized key Qur\u2019anic passages, including Al-Fatihah, ten short
\nsurahs, Ayat Al-Kursi, and the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, in addition
\nto practical training in ablution and prayer, learning daily supplications, and
\netiquette of conduct.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Qur\u2019anic Values<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Alongside
\nthe educational aspects, the program included moral and cultural activities,
\neducational competitions, physical games, and recreational trips organized in
\ncooperation with official entities in the country.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nprogram concluded with a joyful ceremony in which students were honored and
\nawarded participation certificates, in the presence of parents who praised the
\nministry\u2019s efforts.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nDepartment of Da\u2019wah and Religious Guidance affirmed that organizing the
\n\u201cAbjad\u201d course comes within the Ministry\u2019s strategy to make use of children\u2019s
\nsummer vacation through programs that combine Qur\u2019anic education, instilling
\nvalues, and developing skills\u2014contributing to raising a generation firmly
\nrooted in faith and conscious of its identity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
