The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip
\nannounced on Tuesday the deaths of 13 people, including 3 children, due to
\nstarvation and malnutrition over the past 24 hours\u2014the highest number recorded
\nin a single day since the beginning of the extermination and starvation
\ncampaign imposed by the Israeli occupation on the Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry stated that the total number of
\nstarvation-related deaths has risen to 361, including 130 children, warning of
\nthe accelerating consequences of the crisis amid severe shortages of food and
\nmedicine that hinder the response.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

August alone saw the deaths of 185 Palestinians as a
\nresult of the blockade and tightened restrictions on aid entry.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since the United Nations declared the spread of famine
\nin Gaza Governorate on August 22, 70 people, including 12 children, have died,
\nwith warnings of its extension to Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health also noted that 43,000 children
\nunder the age of five suffer from malnutrition, in addition to more than 55,000
\npregnant and breastfeeding women, confirming that two-thirds of pregnant women
\nsuffer from anemia.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This comes as the Israeli occupation began
\nimplementing a plan to invade Gaza City, destroying entire residential
\nneighborhoods in Shuja\u2019iyya, Al-Zaytoun, and Al-Sabra, as well as in Jabalia in
\nthe northern Strip, displacing thousands of civilians.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Countries and human rights and humanitarian
\norganizations have condemned these violations, warning of a new bloody
\nescalation and widespread displacement of Gaza City\u2019s population of
\napproximately one million.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since October 2023, the Israeli occupation, with U.S.
\nsupport, has continued its extermination campaign against the Gaza Strip
\nthrough killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring
\ninternational appeals and International Court of Justice orders.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This war has resulted in the deaths of over 63,000
\nPalestinians and injuries to more than 160,000.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
