Algeria Launches \u201cProphetic Biography Award\u201d to Promote

On
\nThursday, September 4, the Algerian Ministry of Religious Affairs and
\nEndowments announced the launch of an international competition on the
\nProphetic Biography (Seerah), by a decision of the President of the Republic,
\ncoinciding with the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s \ufdfa<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> birthday.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

According
\nto the ministry\u2019s statement, the initiative is named the \u201cAlgeria Award for the
\nEternal Prophetic Biography of Our Master Muhammad \ufdfa<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.\u201d
\nIt aims to consolidate the spiritual and humanitarian values derived from the
\nProphetic biography and to encourage scientific research and intellectual
\ncreativity in the service of the life and teachings of the Noble Prophet \ufdfa<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nministry emphasized that this award reflects the Algerian state\u2019s commitment to
\nenhancing the status of the Prophetic biography and promoting its scientific
\nand cultural influence, contributing to instilling the ethical and humanitarian
\nvalues carried by the Greatest Prophet \ufdfa<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nand transmitting them to future generations as a guiding light in addressing
\ncontemporary challenges.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This
\ninitiative aligns with Algeria\u2019s strategic approach of positioning religion as
\na key pillar for strengthening national identity, reinforcing social unity, and
\ncountering extremism through a moderate discourse derived from the Prophetic
\nguidance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\naward\u2019s launch follows the inauguration of the Great Mosque of Algiers, the
\nlargest religious and cultural complex in the country and the Islamic world,
\nwhich underscores Algeria\u2019s role as a scientific, spiritual, and architectural
\nbeacon.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ninitiative also reflects Algeria\u2019s vision of leveraging the religious dimension
\nas a cornerstone of national security, social cohesion, and enhancing its
\nregional and international presence as a moderate voice in the Arab and Islamic
