The town of Wadi Al-Hour in
\nLebanon\u2019s Akkar Governorate inaugurated the \u201cAl-Khair\u201d Center for Quran
\nMemorization, in the presence of religious and official figures, a group of
\nsheikhs, local activists, and residents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The organizers explained that
\nthe choice of the name \u201cAl-Khair\u201d reflects the center\u2019s mission of promoting
\nknowledge and righteous deeds. They emphasized that the goal is to make the
\ncenter a beacon for nurturing generations and instilling the values of the Holy
\nQuran in the hearts of young people.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

They added that the land on
\nwhich the center was established was dedicated as a charitable endowment
\n(sadaqah) on behalf of the parents of the project founders, expressing wide
\ngratitude to all contributors and benefactors for their continuous support and
\nsponsorship of orphans.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Mufti of Akkar, Sheikh Dr.
\nZaid Muhammad Bakar Zakaria, affirmed that \u201cIslamic knowledge and the
\nupbringing of generations form the fundamental pillar for the rectification of
\nsociety,\u201d adding that \u201cthe Quran is life and an honor for us in this world and
\nthe Hereafter.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He stressed that Islam is a
\nreligion of mercy that does not condone extremism or terrorism, urging families
\nto encourage their children to join Quran memorization centers.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Mufti concluded his speech
\nwith prayers for goodness and victory for the nation, blessing the attendees
\nand their support for this blessed project, noting that initiatives like this
\nserve as a safeguard for society and a nurturing environment for future
\ngenerations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
