The Islamic Dialogue Network in
\nNorway, through its Committee of Imams and Knowledge, recently organized a
\nspecialized scientific seminar featuring Professor Khairuddin Khoja from Doha,
\na leading scholar in Quranic sciences, interpretation, and Islamic culture, and
\na member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar, held at the
\nAlbanian Islamic Cultural Center Qikshn Norvegji, brought together more than 35
\nimams and board members from Islamic institutions in Oslo and surrounding
\nareas. Participants discussed strategies to foster a contemporary understanding
\nof religion amid rapidly changing social dynamics across Europe.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Professor Khoja delivered an
\nin-depth presentation on the methodology of engaging with the Quranic text in
\nmodern contexts, emphasizing the importance of linking religious scholarship
\nwith real-life challenges, and highlighting the role of religious leadership in
\nguiding society while fostering both individual and collective responsibility.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar also included an
\nopen discussion and exchange of experiences among attendees, addressing the
\ndaily challenges faced by Muslims in Norway and exploring ways to develop a
\nbalanced religious discourse that harmonizes Islamic identity, social integration,
\nand civic responsibilities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The event concluded by stressing
\nthe importance of such scientific gatherings in strengthening Muslim presence
\nand advancing religious knowledge within Norwegian society, with organizers
\nexpressing gratitude to all participants for their valuable contributions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
