The Dean of Algiers Grand
\nMosque, Mohamed Al-Mamoun Al-Qasimi Al-Hassani, announced that the Higher
\nSchool of Islamic Sciences (Dar Al-Quran) is ready to welcome its first cohort
\nof international doctoral students.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement following his
\nmeeting with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Al-Qasimi explained that current
\nefforts are focused on strengthening cooperation with academic centers in Arab
\nand Islamic countries, particularly across Africa, in a move that reinforces
\nthe mosque\u2019s standing in the global scientific and religious arena.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Strengthening Comprehensive Religious Authority<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Al-Qasimi emphasized that
\nAlgiers Grand Mosque, committed to fulfilling its broad civilizational role,
\nserves as a bastion of comprehensive religious authority, in line with the
\nvision expressed by President Tebboune during the inauguration of this prominent
\nreligious institution.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He also highlighted the projects
\nachieved to date through the mosque\u2019s affiliated institutions and bodies,
\nnoting that these initiatives align with the civilizational mission the mosque
\nseeks to embody.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDar Al-Quran\u201d: A Multidisciplinary Higher Institution<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The National School of Islamic
\nSciences (Dar Al-Quran) is one of the key facilities of Algiers Grand Mosque.
\nIt is a higher education institution dedicated to postgraduate studies,
\nfocusing on a wide range of Islamic and Sharia sciences.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Its programs cover Quranic
\nstudies, faith and ethics, and dialogue among civilizations and cultures,
\nalongside modern fields such as Islamic financial markets, fintech, and Islamic
\nbanking.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The school also offers programs
\nin Takaful insurance, history of science and mathematics, and social and
\neducational psychology from an Islamic perspective, in addition to
\nspecializations related to urban heritage planning and architectural heritage.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dar Al-Quran aims to provide
\nadvanced, specialized education for graduates of higher education institutions,
\nwhile also training officials and employees in the religious affairs and
\nendowments sector to update their knowledge and elevate their academic and
\nprofessional level.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The institution further works to
\nenhance cooperation and exchange of expertise with national and international
\nbodies within its areas of specialization, reinforcing its role as a hub of
\nscientific and religious influence regionally and globally.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
