The Palestinian Ministry of
\nAwqaf and Religious Affairs has released its monthly report on Israeli
\nviolations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Ibrahimi Mosque, and all places of
\nworship during January.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The report stated that the
\noccupation forces and settlers carried out more than 28 raids on Al-Aqsa
\nMosque, in addition to implementing Judaization schemes affecting the site.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It explained that Israeli forces
\nrestricted worshippers, particularly during the dawn prayer, detained young
\nmen, and checked their IDs at the mosque\u2019s gates and around the Old City, while
\nsettlers continued performing public prostrations in the courtyards of the
\nQibli Prayer Hall and the Dome of the Rock during Friday prayers, in blatant
\nviolation of the sanctity of the site.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The report also noted that the
\noccupation authorities held a graduation ceremony for their soldiers at the
\nWestern Wall (Al-Buraq Wall) adjacent to the mosque, in a provocative display.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

At the Ibrahimi Mosque, the
\nreport indicated that the occupation prevented the call to prayer (Adhan) 57
\ntimes during the month, maintained the closure of the Souq Gate and Eastern
\nGate since the beginning of the year, fixed locks on service doors, restricted
\nthe entry of some staff, and deliberately delayed the muezzin.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The forces also conducted
\nhumiliating inspections of worshippers and staff, using offensive language,
\nescorted over 550 soldiers in civilian clothes to storm the prayer halls, while
\nexcavation works continued in the Ashrafiyya Corner without clarification.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry confirmed that
\nthese violations constitute a blatant assault on the authority of the Awqaf, a
\nthreat to the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque, an affront to Muslim feelings,
\nand an attempt to seize control of the site.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The report also highlighted
\nongoing violations against other holy sites, including raids on Jawhar and
\nAl-Shuhada mosques in Hebron with internal inspections, and settlers spitting
\non the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, in a provocative act targeting
\nthe Christian presence and its holy sites.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry concluded that
\nthese practices are part of ongoing violations against Islamic and Christian
\nholy sites, aimed at restricting citizens and preventing them from performing
\ntheir religious rituals freely and safely. It held the occupation fully
\nresponsible and called on international and human rights organizations to
\nurgently intervene to halt these violations and protect the holy sites.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
