Hamas Calls for
\nGlobal Protests Against the Ongoing Aggression and Genocide in the Gaza Strip<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Islamic Resistance Movement
\n(Hamas) issued a global call for action through angry marches and pressure
\nactivities to protest the ongoing aggression and genocide against the
\nPalestinian people in the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement, the movement
\nsaid that the continued aggression of the fascist Zionist occupation government
\nagainst the Palestinian people in Gaza\u2014through the escalation of airstrikes and
\nrelentless barbaric bombardment, and the perpetration of the most heinous
\ncrimes of systematic killing by demolishing and destroying the tents and homes
\nof defenseless innocent civilians\u2014reflects a clear insistence on committing the
\nmost atrocious acts of systematic killing and deepening the worsening
\nhumanitarian suffering in the Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamas added that the government
\nof war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu continues to deliberately and repeatedly
\nviolate the ceasefire agreement on a daily basis, evading its obligations to
\nthe mediators, showing disregard for international laws and norms, and
\ncommitting a blatant violation of all human values and principles.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The movement continued: \u201cWe
\ndirect our call to people of living conscience and free individuals in our Arab
\nand Islamic nation and around the world, to take urgent action through all
\nforms of solidarity marches with our people and our just cause, and to organize
\nangry demonstrations in cities, capitals, and public squares across the globe,
\nin rejection of the continued unjust aggression by the fascist Zionist
\noccupation government against the people of Gaza.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamas emphasized that the coming
\ndays\u2014especially Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays of every week\u2014should constitute
\na sustained and escalating global movement that expresses the voice of the
\nworld\u2019s conscience and its free outcry against occupation, aggression, and
\ngenocide targeting the people of Gaza. This movement should employ all forms of
\npopular pressure on the occupation government to halt its brutal aggression,
\nadhere to the ceasefire, immediately open the crossings, allow relief aid, and
\nbegin reconstruction.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Zionist occupation continues
\nto violate the ceasefire agreement on a daily basis, resulting in the killing
\nof 526 Palestinians, while also preventing the entry of the agreed-upon
\nquantities of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

With American support, the
\ngenocide carried out by the Zionist occupation in Gaza has resulted in
\napproximately 72,000 martyrs and more than 171,000 wounded, most of them
\nchildren and women, in addition to destruction affecting about 90% of the
\ncivilian infrastructure.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
