“Algerian Reciters” Illuminate Mosques in Mascara
\nProvince with a Quranic Caravan Covering 10 Municipalities<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A Quranic caravan titled “Algerian
\nReciters” was recently launched in the Algerian province of Mascara, under
\nthe slogan: \u201cThe Light of the Qur\u2019an is Our Guidance, and the Legacy of the
\nFree is Our Pledge.\u201d This religious initiative aims to strengthen the status of
\nthe Holy Book in the hearts of citizens and connect generations to the values
\nof identity and national spirit through recitation, praise, and purposeful
\nlessons.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The caravan began its journey from the
\ncentral mosque \u201cImam Muslim\u201d, in the presence of a distinguished group of
\nnationally renowned Qur\u2019an reciters, including Abdulaziz Saheem, Abdulkarim
\nBelhassen, and Abdulmonaim Baroudi, amidst a spiritual atmosphere that deeply
\nmoved the attendees.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Organized by the Directorate of Religious
\nAffairs and Endowments in coordination with the Directorate of Tourism and
\nHandicrafts, the caravan will tour several municipalities in the province over
\nthree days. These include Mascara, El Kort, Ghriss, Tighennif, Oued Taria,
\nMohammadia, Froha, El Bordj, Ain Fares, and Bouhanifia, with the participation
\nof ten reciters from various regions across the country.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement, the Director of Religious
\nAffairs and Endowments, Mr. Ali Zanadra, explained that the caravan includes,
\nin addition to Qur\u2019anic recitations, accompanying religious activities such as
\npraise songs and supplications performed by students from Qur\u2019anic schools and
\nzawiyas. It also features lectures and religious lessons delivered by imams and
\nofficials from the directorate, focusing on the virtues of memorizing the
\nQur\u2019an and reflecting on its verses.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The caravan will conclude with a
\nreligious ceremony at the \u201cUthman ibn Affan\u201d Mosque in the city of Mascara,
\nduring which the participating reciters will be honored, along with children
\naged 9 to 14 who have memorized the Qur\u2019an from the province\u2019s Qur\u2019anic
\neducation schools \u2014 a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for the people
\nof the Qur\u2019an.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
