The
\nsummer Qur\u2019anic program “Al-Maher bil Qur\u2019an”\u2014organized by the
\nDepartment of Da\u2018wah and Religious Guidance at the Ministry of Awqaf and
\nIslamic Affairs in Qatar\u2014continues to attract widespread participation across
\nvarious age groups. Two specialized summer centers are witnessing active
\ninvolvement from students eager to refine their memorization of the Holy Qur\u2019an
\nor complete it during the summer break.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

90 Students Participate Across Two Specialized Centers<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

This
\ninitiative is part of a comprehensive series of Qur\u2019anic programs launched by
\nthe Ministry to make productive use of the summer holidays by enhancing
\nstudents\u2019 educational, moral, and spiritual development and strengthening their
\nbond with the Qur\u2019an.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nbroader program lineup includes: \u201cSayfuna \u2018Ala Kaifina\u201d, the \u201cAbjad\u201d course to
\nteach children the basics of Arabic letters and Qur\u2019anic reading, the inaugural
\nsummer course at the Al-Noor Qur\u2019anic Educational Center, and \u201cAl-Maher bil
\nQur\u2019an\u201d, held at Jassim Al-Darwish Fakhro Mosque in Abu Hamour and Mohammed bin
\nAbdulaziz Al Thani Mosque in Hazm Al Markhiya.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Sheikh
\nAmr Al-Maliki, supervisor of the course at Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Thani
\nMosque, explained that the program aims to support Qur\u2019an memorization,
\nrevision, and the correction of recitation, accompanied by various educational
\nand recreational activities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ncourse is divided into two main tracks:<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Revision
\nTrack: Designed for students to review the Qur\u2019an based on their level (entire
\nQur\u2019an, 25 Juz\u2019, 20 Juz\u2019, 15 Juz\u2019, 10 Juz\u2019, or 5 Juz\u2019).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Memorization
\nand Recitation Track: Intended for students who have already memorized large
\nportions of the Qur\u2019an and aim to perfect their recitation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nprogram hosts 90 students, nearly 50% of whom have completed memorizing the
\nentire Qur\u2019an. The course runs for a full month, from July 13 to August 13,
\nfour days a week (Sunday to Wednesday), from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. It is open to
\nmale students who meet the enrollment requirements\u2014such as memorizing at least
\n10 Juz\u2019 for the revision track or being at least 16 years old for the
\nmemorization and recitation track.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Programs That Instill Qur\u2019anic Values<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The
\ncourse features a comprehensive educational and moral curriculum, including the
\nstudy of key texts on Qur\u2019anic etiquette and sciences such as \u201cMukhtasar Akhlaq
\nHamalat al-Qur\u2019an\u201d (Abridged Ethics of the Bearers of the Qur\u2019an), \u201cTuhfat
\nal-Atfal\u201d (a classical poem on Tajweed), \u201cAl-Adab wal-Adhkar\u201d (Etiquette and
\nRemembrances), and \u201cAl-Itqan li-Alfaz al-Qur\u2019an\u201d (Mastery of Qur\u2019anic
\nPronunciation). These texts are presented in an engaging, age-appropriate
\nmanner to enrich the student\u2019s experience and deepen their understanding of the
\nQur\u2019an.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Through
\nsuch initiatives, the Ministry of Awqaf aims to develop students\u2019 Qur\u2019anic
\nskills, reinforce ethical and educational values, and encourage them to join
\nthe Ministry\u2019s Qur\u2019an memorization circles, thereby contributing to the
\nspiritual and intellectual growth of future generations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
