In a
\nhistoric event anticipated by the Islamic world, the International Union of
\nMuslim Scholars, in cooperation with the Endowment of Islamic Scholars in
\nTurkey, is preparing to organize a global conference in Istanbul, Turkey, under
\nthe slogan:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGaza:
\nAn Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility\u201d,<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

to be
\nheld from 28 Safar \u2013 6 Rabi\u2018 al-Awwal 1437 AH (corresponding to 22 \u2013 29 August
\n2025 CE), with the participation of a distinguished group of senior scholars,
\nas well as leaders of associations and scholarly institutions from various
\ncontinents.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nconferences and intellectual gatherings in the courtyards of major mosques,
\naccompanied by global calls to support Gaza.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nconferences and religious statements issued by scholars clarifying the Islamic
\nand humanitarian stance toward the aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

1-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Supporting
\nGaza and halting aggression by unifying efforts and opening humanitarian
\ncorridors to aid its people.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

2-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Establishing
\na unified Islamic alliance to prevent the recurrence of massacres and genocide.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

3-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Drafting
\na global humanitarian charter to pursue war criminals and protect moral values.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

4-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Issuing
\nthe Istanbul Declaration to establish an institutional, legal, and humanitarian
\nalliance to confront aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

5-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Developing
\neffective diplomacy to mobilize public opinion, engage heads of state, and
\nsecure international support.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

6-     <\/span><\/span><\/span>Forming
\na permanent follow-up committee to ensure the implementation of decisions and
\ntheir translation into tangible reality.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Through
\nthis global event, the Union affirms that the cause of Gaza is not a local
\nissue but rather a humanitarian trust and a civilizational responsibility for
\nthe entire Ummah. It calls upon all free people, institutions, and
\norganizations to participate in shaping a historic transformation that supports
\nthe oppressed and restores unity and dignity to the Ummah.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
