The first edition of the “Leadership:
\nAspirations and Development of Muslim Youth in Qatar” conference concluded
\nyesterday evening, Saturday, in Doha. The event emphasized the importance of
\nadopting a human-centered leadership concept grounded in values derived from
\nIslamic culture, contributing to a positive impact on individuals\u2019 lives and
\nthe building of communities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Wide Participation from Qatari
\nYouth<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The two-day conference was held at the
\n\u201cMultaqa\u201d at the Students\u2019 Center of Education City under the patronage of
\nQatar International Islamic Bank, with the participation of over a thousand
\nstudents from various schools and universities across Qatar<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Conference attendees engaged in interactive
\nand discussion sessions, addressing ways to confront contemporary challenges.
\nThey listened to a distinguished group of scholars, thinkers, and influencers
\nwho emphasized the importance of reinforcing and nurturing Islamic identity
\nbased on faith and knowledge<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A Leadership Model from the
\nPerspective of “The Good Life<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>“<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

During the opening session of the second
\nday, Her Excellency Sheikha Dr. Hessa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani,
\nChairperson and Founder of the Good Life Center for Professional Development
\nand Training and Assistant Professor at Qatar University, presented a
\nleadership model based on five fundamental pillars: spiritual, psychological,
\nintellectual, physical, and social<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

She highlighted that true leadership
\ninvolves unlocking and enhancing the potential of others through humanity,
\nclear vision, and compassion, stressing the importance of following the
\nProphetic model and integrating knowledge with action<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Islamic Identity as the
\nFoundation of Excellence<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Dr. Mutlaq Al-Jasser, preacher and
\nresearcher at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait, called for
\nthe reordering of the nation\u2019s priorities to achieve renaissance, while Sheikh
\nSalem Al-Ahbabi, Director of the Ibn Al-Zubair Scientific Center, emphasized
\nthe importance of religion, language, and history in shaping identity<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Omar Suleiman, founder and president of
\nthe Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research, explained that excellence is a way
\nof life requiring balance and discipline, and that righteous deeds lead to
\nothers of the same nature<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cBilArabi\u201d initiative also organized two
\ndialogue sessions during the conference. Mr. Hisham Noreen, Executive Director
\nof Strategic Initiatives and Programs at Qatar Foundation, stated that the
\nconference aims to empower Muslim youth and equip them with tools for positive
\nimpact locally and globally, marking the beginning of a series of future events
\nfor the \u201cBilArabi\u201d initiative<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
