His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin
\nHamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, hosted an iftar banquet this
\nevening in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, honoring distinguished
\nscholars, judges, and religious figures, members of the public prosecution, and
\npersonnel from the education and higher education sectors. The event took place
\nat Lusail Palace.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The banquet was attended by His
\nHighness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the personal representative of the
\nEmir, along with a number of distinguished sheikhs, ministers, and senior
\nofficials.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A group of scholars from the
\nInternational Union of Muslim Scholars also participated in the event, led by
\nHis Eminence Professor Dr. Ali Muhyi al-Din al-Qaradaghi, the President of the
\nUnion, along with several deputies and members.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

A Heart Close to
\nthe Concerns of Scholars<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

On this occasion, the President
\nof the Union expressed his appreciation for attending the gathering in a post
\non the social media platform X, stating that he was honored to participate in
\nthe distinguished meeting and pleased to meet His Highness the Emir. He
\ndescribed the Emir as \u201cattentive and close to the concerns of scholars, keen to
\nlisten, and appreciative of the efforts of those working in the fields of
\neducation and justice.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He further added that the
\ngathering \u201cinstills reassurance and strengthens confidence, affirming that the
\nrelationship between leadership and the intellectual elite is one of
\npartnership and shared responsibility.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He emphasized that the Ramadan
\nbanquet reflects Qatar\u2019s commitment to enhancing communication with scholars,
\nthe judiciary, and educators, reinforcing their status as a fundamental pillar
\nin the moral and intellectual development of society.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
