The Ministry of Health in Gaza
\nhas confirmed that more than 900 Palestinians \u2014 including 71 children \u2014 have
\ndied from hunger and malnutrition, in addition to over 6,000 injuries among
\nthose seeking food, since the beginning of the genocidal war waged by the
\nIsraeli occupation on the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a new massacre on Sunday
\nmorning, the occupation committed a horrific crime in the northwest of Gaza
\nCity, resulting in the death of 54 civilians \u2014 51 of whom were aid seekers \u2014
\nand injuring around 60 others.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health stated
\nthat the occupation is using starvation as a deadly weapon, emphasizing that
\nchildren are dying of hunger in front of camera lenses.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It added that famine has
\nreached catastrophic levels, with over two million people suffering from severe
\nhunger due to the ongoing blockade on food and medical aid.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The ministry further explained
\nthat the continued prevention of the entry of medicines and medical supplies
\nhas led to a total collapse of the healthcare system.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

An urgent appeal was issued to
\nthe concerned authorities to pressure the occupation to allow the entry of
\nhumanitarian aid, pointing out that the world has turned a deaf ear to the
\ncries of starving children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In the same context, the
\nDirector of the Network of NGOs in Gaza issued a distress call to help around
\n100 persons with disabilities in a shelter in Deir al-Balah, who are living in
\ndire conditions amid a complete lack of care and support.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since October 7, 2023, the
\nIsraeli occupation has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has
\nso far resulted in more than 198,000 martyrs and wounded \u2014 the majority of them
\nchildren and women \u2014 in addition to over 11,000 missing persons.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Palestinian and international
\norganizations have warned that the Strip is going through the worst stages of
\nfamine due to the occupation\u2019s deliberate starvation policy.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
