Massive Rally in
\nTunisia in Support of Stricken Gaza: Chants Against Siege, Starvation, and

On Saturday evening, dozens of
\nTunisians participated in a protest stand in front of the Municipal Theatre in
\ndowntown Tunis, expressing solidarity with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,
\nwho have been subjected to a continuous genocidal war for 21 months.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The rally was organized by the
\n\u201cSupporters of Palestine\u201d Association, where participants raised slogans
\ndemanding an end to the aggression, lifting the siege, and opening crossings to
\nallow food and medicine entry.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Murad Al-Yaacoubi, a member of
\nthe association, stated that the situation in Gaza is \u201cextremely dire, amid
\nescalating famine, suffocating siege, and slow killings carried out with the
\ncomplicity of major powers,\u201d adding, \u201cPeople are on the brink of death \u2014 and
\nthis is no exaggeration. Many have died of starvation.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

He confirmed that such
\nprotests are now held weekly despite the pain, amid a significant wave of
\nglobal abandonment, noting that Tunisian popular engagement is increasing, even
\namong children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Daily Massacres
\nand Systematic Starvation<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In this context, the Gaza
\nMinistry of Health confirmed that more than 900 Palestinians \u2014 including 71
\nchildren \u2014 have died from hunger and malnutrition since the start of the war,
\nwhile over 6,000 others were injured while searching for food.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, the
\noccupation committed a horrific crime northwest of Gaza City, killing 54
\npeople, including 51 aid seekers, and injuring more than 60.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Ministry of Health pointed
\nout that the occupation uses starvation as a deadly weapon amid a humanitarian
\ncatastrophe threatening over two million people due to the complete siege and
\nthe prevention of aid entry, including medicine and medical supplies, leading
\nto the collapse of the healthcare system.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ongoing
\nGenocidal War with International Support<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Since October 7, 2023, the
\nZionist occupation has continued a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip,
\nincluding killing, starving, and displacing its people, ignoring international
\nresolutions and the orders of the International Court of Justice to cease hostilities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So far, the aggression has
\nresulted in over 199,000 Palestinians killed or injured, most of them children
\nand women, along with more than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands
\ndisplaced, amid a silent famine claiming lives.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
