\nGovernment Media Office in Gaza has warned of an unprecedented humanitarian
\ncatastrophe threatening the lives of tens of thousands of children, as the
\nZionist occupation continues to block the entry of infant formula into the
\nbesieged Gaza Strip for over 150 days.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a
\nstatement issued on Monday, the Office revealed that more than 40,000 infants
\nunder the age of one are facing the risk of slow and painful death due to the
\nsuffocating blockade imposed by the Zionist occupation, which deprives them of
\ntheir most basic rights to food and care.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nstatement called for the immediate and unconditional opening of all border
\ncrossings, and the urgent entry of baby formula and humanitarian aid. It held
\nthe Zionist occupation, its supporters, and the international community fully
\nresponsible for every innocent life lost due to this systematic and deliberate
\nsiege.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In the
\nsame context, the United Nations Children\u2019s Fund (UNICEF) affirmed in a
\nstatement today that the entire population of Gaza is suffering from hunger,
\nstressing that children are the most affected, as the Zionist blockade tightens
\naround civilians.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since
\nOctober 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation, backed by the United States, has been
\nwaging a full-scale genocidal war on Gaza involving mass killing, destruction,
\nstarvation, and forced displacement\u2014blatantly ignoring international appeals
\nand even defying International Court of Justice orders to halt the aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So far,
\nthis genocide has resulted in more than 204,000 Palestinians killed or wounded,
\nmost of them women and children, in addition to 9,000 missing persons, hundreds
\nof thousands of displaced people, and a deadly famine that has already claimed
