West Bank Rises in Solidarity with Gaza and Prisoners, Denounces
\nGenocide and Starvation by the Zionist Occupation<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Cities
\nand towns across the occupied West Bank witnessed mass protests and public
\nrallies on Sunday in support of Gaza\u2019s steadfastness and in condemnation of the
\nstarvation policies and acts of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist occupation
\nagainst civilians in the besieged strip. Demonstrators also expressed
\nsolidarity with Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These
\npopular movements were part of the activities marking the \u201cNational and
\nInternational Day of Solidarity with Gaza and the Prisoners.\u201d Participants
\nraised banners denouncing the brutal aggression of the occupation and its
\ncrimes of forced displacement and starvation, while calling for urgent
\ninternational action to halt the ongoing massacres and violations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nTubas, residents and former prisoners took part in a solidarity vigil, raising
\nplacards condemning the genocide in Gaza and the systematic war waged by the
\nIsraeli prison authorities against Palestinian detainees.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Similar
\nrallies were held in Ramallah and Nablus, where demonstrators voiced their
\nunwavering support for besieged Gaza and rejected the occupation\u2019s starvation
\ntactics affecting over two million Palestinians. They stressed that
\ninternational silence in the face of such crimes amounts to complicity in the
\naggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nTulkarm, large marches were organized in support of the prisoners and in
\ndenunciation of the racist policies and daily crimes committed by the
\noccupation against civilians in Gaza.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Genocidal Crimes Against Civilians and Prisoners<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Since
\nOctober 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation has continued its bloody assault on the
\nGaza Strip, killing over 60,430 people and injuring 148,722 others\u2014most of them
\nchildren and women. More than 11,000 individuals remain missing amid widespread
\ndestruction and famine, which alone has claimed the lives of at least 1,422
\npeople, mostly children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According
\nto Palestinian prisoner advocacy organizations, over 10,800 Palestinians are
\ncurrently held in Israeli prisons, including 49 women and more than 450
\nchildren. Approximately 3,630 are administrative detainees, while the
\noccupation has classified over 2,450 detainees from Gaza as \u201cunlawful
\ncombatants.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since
\nthe beginning of the war, at least 75 prisoners have died in Israeli custody
\ndue to torture and ill-treatment, including 46 detainees from Gaza. Israeli
\nauthorities continue to withhold the bodies of 72 martyred prisoners and refuse
\nto disclose the identities and circumstances surrounding the deaths of dozens
\nmore\u2014amounting to a full-fledged crime of enforced disappearance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
