Massive Demonstrations in Morocco and Yemen in Solidarity with
\nGaza amid Siege and Starvation<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Thousands
\nof Moroccans organized on Friday wide solidarity sit-ins and marches in support
\nof Gaza, during which they called on scholars to bear their historical
\nresponsibilities and support the Palestinian cause. At the same time, the
\nYemeni capital Sanaa and other cities witnessed large demonstrations rejecting
\nthe ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nMorocco, the Moroccan Commission for Supporting the Causes of the Ummah, a
\nnon-governmental organization, called for 95 demonstrations across 58 cities
\nnationwide to express rejection of the suffocating siege imposed by the Zionist
\noccupation on the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants
\nin the sit-ins, according to the commission\u2019s statement, condemned the policy
\nof systematic starvation and killing targeting Palestinian civilians,
\ndescribing it as the largest genocide in contemporary history.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ndemonstrators also denounced \u201cthe silence of scholars in the face of ongoing
\nmassacres and killings during aid distribution in what has become known as
\n\u2018death traps,\u2019\u201d demanding that they take on their leading role in supporting
\nthe Palestinian people.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Major
\ncities that witnessed large demonstrations included Casablanca, El Jadida,
\nRabat, Agadir, Berkane, and Oujda, where participants raised slogans expressing
\ntheir unwavering support for Gaza under the banner \u201cSupporting Dignified
\nGaza… The Duty of Scholars First\u201d during the 88th Friday of Al-Aqsa Flood.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nYemen, thousands of citizens participated in a massive demonstration in the
\ncapital Sanaa under the slogan \u201cSteadfast with Gaza… Our readiness is high to
\nface all enemies\u2019 conspiracies,\u201d raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags alongside
\nbanners calling for an end to the aggression and denouncing the complicit
\ninternational silence.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\ndemonstrators chanted slogans reflecting the depth of Yemen\u2019s steadfast
\nposition, such as: \u201cAs long as God is our Protector… We will never abandon
\nGaza,\u201d affirming their full solidarity with their brothers in Gaza in facing
\nthe Zionist aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Similar
\ndemonstrations condemning the aggression and demanding support for the
\nPalestinian people took place in several other Yemeni provinces, including Al
\nHudaydah, Saada, Taiz, and Al Dhale\u2019e.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is
\nworth noting that since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Strip has been facing the
\nworst humanitarian crisis in its history, as the Zionist occupation combines
\nsystematic starvation with a U.S.-backed genocide campaign, ignoring all
\ninternational appeals and orders. This has resulted in the deaths of more than
\n61,000 Palestinian civilians and 152,000 injured, in addition to hundreds of
\nthousands displaced and a severe famine crisis that has claimed thousands of
\nvictims, including dozens of children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
