Global Protests Condemn the Genocide and Starvation of Gaza and
\nDemand an End to the Zionist Occupation\u2019s Siege<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Arab and
\nWestern cities witnessed massive demonstrations condemning the extermination
\nwar carried out by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people in the
\nGaza Strip, and the systematic policy of siege and starvation. Protesters
\ndemanded the entry of humanitarian aid and the cessation of ongoing crimes.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nTangier, northern Morocco, thousands of demonstrators gathered on Saturday
\nevening, raising slogans of solidarity with Palestine, including: “The
\npeople want the liberation of Palestine” and “Gaza under siege,”
\naffirming their rejection of displacement and starvation, and denouncing the
\ninternational community\u2019s failure to stop the genocide.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nAgadir, southern Morocco, a protest was organized under the slogan “Gaza\u2026
\nStarvation races against bullets,” called by the Moroccan Initiative for
\nSupport and Aid. Participants chanted slogans condemning the siege and
\ndestruction.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nTunisia, hundreds of activists from the “Flotilla of Resilience” and
\n“Supporters of Palestine” participated in a demonstration in front of
\nthe Municipal Theater, rejecting the genocide, siege, and starvation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nIstanbul, Turkey, a march entitled “Be Hope for Gaza” was held at the
\ninvitation of the “Platform to Support Palestine,” which includes 15
\ncivil organizations. The march featured chants against the Zionist occupation
\nsuch as “Killer Israel, get out of Palestine.”<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nAmsterdam, protesters called for sanctions and cutting ties with the
\noccupation, affirming their intention to continue protests until justice is
\nachieved. In Stockholm, participants raised slogans rejecting starvation and
\ndisplacement, calling for an immediate ceasefire and sanctions against the
\noccupation\u2019s leaders.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nGeneva, thousands of Swiss organized a march through city neighborhoods,
\nbanging empty pots as a symbol of Gaza\u2019s famine, demanding a boycott of the
\noccupation and criticizing the Swiss government for cooperating with it.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Berlin
\nand Oslo also witnessed protests demanding an end to the war and delivery of
\naid, while Chile held a demonstration titled “Empty Pots,” condemning
\nthe policy of starvation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\nLondon, police arrested 365 people during a demonstration supporting the
\n“Palestine Action” movement, which the British government has banned.
\nThe group is known for its activities disrupting the production of weapons
\ndestined for the Zionist occupation, such as attacks on Israeli “Elbit
\nSystems” factories in Bristol.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since
\nOctober 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation, with American support, has been
\ncarrying out a genocide in Gaza, including killing, starving, destroying, and
\nforcibly displacing people, disregarding international resolutions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

These
\ncrimes have resulted in the martyrdom of 61,369 Palestinians and injury to over
\n152 others, most of whom are children and women, in addition to more than 9,000
\nmissing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed
\nmany lives.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
