The
\nPalestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the death toll
\nfrom the ongoing genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation since October
\n7, 2023, has risen to 61,722, with 154,525 injured.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nministry stated in its daily report that the hospitals in the Gaza Strip
\nreceived 123 fatalities and 437 new injuries over the past 24 hours.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It also
\nnoted that since the Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on March 18, the
\ntotal number of Palestinian casualties has reached 10,201 deaths and 42,484
\ninjuries.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Separately,
\nthe number of casualties among those waiting for aid since May 27 has risen to
\n1,859 deaths and over 13,594 injuries, following the killing of 21 Palestinians
\nand the wounding of 185 in a single day.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

According
\nto ministry reports, the aid distribution plan, implemented by the Israeli
\noccupation authorities since May 27 with U.S. support, has come to be known
\namong Palestinians as \u201cdeath traps,\u201d while it has been rejected by the United
\nNations and international relief organizations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nministry reported that eight Palestinians died in the past 24 hours due to
\ncomplications from famine and malnutrition, including three children, bringing
\nthe total death toll from famine and malnutrition to 235, including 106
\nchildren.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The
\nIsraeli occupation authorities, with U.S. backing, continue to carry out a
\ngenocide that includes killing, starvation, destruction, and forced
\ndisplacement since October 7, 2023, ignoring international calls and
\nInternational Court of Justice orders to halt the aggression.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In
\naddition to the dead and injured, most of whom are women and children, the
\naggression has left more than 9,000 missing persons and hundreds of thousands
\ndisplaced, while famine has claimed additional lives amid a suffocating
\nblockade of the Gaza Strip.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
