\nDemand a State Free of Muslims and Islamic Schools in India<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

A group of Hindu priests, led by
\nPriest Yati Narsinghanand, called for the establishment of a state without
\nMuslims, mosques, or Islamic schools during a press conference on Thursday at
\nthe \u201cShyama Shyam\u201d temple in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, northern India.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Narsinghanand\u2014known for his
\ninflammatory speeches against Muslims\u2014made these remarks during a five-day
\nHindu religious event at the temple, which, according to the priests, aims to
\nprotect \u201cSanatan Dharma\u201d (Hinduism) and Hindu families, and to eliminate what
\nthey described as \u201cenemies of the Hindu religion.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

During the conference, the
\npriest said: \u201cWe pray to the goddess (Maa) and Mahadev to grant us our own
\nstate. We want a homeland without mosques, religious schools, or any Muslims.
\nWe are fed up with them and irritated by their presence.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Narsinghanand also attacked
\nMahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, accusing them of \u201cbetraying\u201d the Hindu
\ncommunity, stating: \u201cGandhi and Nehru are the greatest traitors in human
\nhistory. Because of them, we have no place in this world that we can call our
\nown, even though there are a hundred crore Hindus.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Narsinghanand faces multiple
\npolice cases for hate speech targeting Islam and Muslims, despite calls from
\nMuslim groups and civil society organizations for his arrest.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In response to Narsinghanand\u2019s
\nremarks, Muslim leader and former parliament member Mohammad Adib described the
\npriest as \u201ccrazy,\u201d noting that he enjoys support from Narendra Modi\u2019s
\ngovernment. He said: \u201cThe Indian government supports him\u2026 He makes such statements
\nopenly in a country whose constitution grants equal rights to all, yet the
\ngovernments remain silent and the courts do not act. The current ruler is
\nresponsible for the prevailing situation in the country.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Adib added that Narsinghanand is
\nacting against constitutional values, yet the government takes no action
\nagainst him, indicating implicit support from the authorities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding Narsinghanand\u2019s
\naccusations against Gandhi and Nehru, Adib said: \u201cIf Gandhi and Nehru had
\ndeclared India a Hindu state, the country would have collapsed. No Muslims
\nwould remain, and a homeland for Sikhs would have been created, as Sikhs would not
\naccept living in a Hindu state.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

He further stated: \u201cChristians
\nwould not accept staying in India if it were declared a Hindu state, and the
\nnortheastern region would have aligned with China or Myanmar. These fools do
\nnot realize how much Gandhi and Nehru contributed to the country.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
