New Zealand and
\nAustralia Witness Largest Pro-Palestine Demonstrations Against Zionist

On Saturday, New Zealand saw
\nprotests described as the largest in the country’s history in support of the
\nPalestinian people and the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to
\nextermination by the Israeli occupation for nearly two years.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Auckland Rises
\nAgainst the Israeli Occupation<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

According to New Zealand\u2019s RNZ
\nradio, around 20,000 people participated in a march titled \u201cMarch for Humanity\u201d
\nin Auckland, starting from Aotea Square and ending at Victoria Park.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants called on the New
\nZealand government to impose sanctions on Israel for its severe violations in
\nGaza. They also demanded an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and the
\nlifting of the blockade to allow humanitarian aid and the resumption of UNRWA
\noperations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Protesters waved Palestinian
\nflags and chanted slogans such as \u201cDo Not Normalize Genocide\u201d and \u201cTake a Stand
\nand Support Palestine.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Nadine Mortaja, spokesperson for
\nthe group Aotearoa for Palestine, said during the event: \u201cThis is the largest
\nmarch ever organized for Palestine in New Zealand\u2019s history.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Pro-Palestine
\nDemonstrations in Australia<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In Australia, several cities
\nwitnessed demonstrations supporting Palestine.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

According to Australia\u2019s ABC
\nNews, protesters gathered in Melbourne carrying Aboriginal and Palestinian
\nflags as part of a protest titled \u201cSovereignty for Indigenous Peoples.\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In the capital Canberra, around
\n200 people took part in a protest against fascism and racism, waving
\nPalestinian flags and holding pro-Palestine banners.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Toll of Zionist

Since October 7, 2023, the
\nIsraeli occupation, with U.S. support, has been committing a genocide in Gaza,
\nincluding killings, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring
\ninternational appeals and rulings from the International Court of Justice to
\nhalt these crimes.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This genocide has resulted in
\nover 64,000 Palestinian deaths and more than 164,000 injuries, most of them
\nchildren and women, along with hundreds of thousands displaced and a famine
\nthat claimed hundreds of lives, including dozens of children.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
