The Islamic Resistance
\nMovement “Hamas” has called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as
\nall free people around the world, to launch widespread popular mobilizations
\nstarting Sunday, July 20, in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,
\nwho are facing catastrophic humanitarian conditions due to ongoing aggression
\nand a suffocating blockade<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement titled
\n“A Call to the Nation and the Free People of the World,” the movement
\naffirmed that the Gaza Strip is being subjected to a \u201csystematic war of
\ngenocide and starvation\u201d carried out by the Zionist occupation against
\ncivilians, amid \u201cunprecedented international silence and inaction<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.\u201d<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The statement pointed
\nto the collapse of basic life necessities in the Strip\u2014including food, water,
\nand medicine\u2014along with widespread destruction of infrastructure and healthcare
\nfacilities, threatening the lives of more than two million Palestinians<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamas called for
\nmaking July 20 the beginning of global days of rage, including protests, sit-ins,
\nand solidarity events aimed at<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> *<\/span><\/b><\/span>Raising the global
\nvoice against the occupation’s crimes<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nand decision-makers<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>,<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The movement also
\nemphasized the urgent need for concerted efforts at the Arab, Islamic, and
\ninternational levels to end the aggression and lift the blockade immediately<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

At the conclusion of
\nits statement, Hamas declared<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>: “<\/span>Let the coming days be historic ones in which we expose the crimes of
\ngenocide and starvation, and let us be one united voice to end the blockade and
\nstop the aggression<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.”<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This call comes amid
\none of the worst humanitarian crises Gaza has ever witnessed, with growing
\ndemands from human rights organizations to open international investigations
\ninto violations against civilians<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Since October 7, 2023,
\nthe Zionist occupation has waged a genocidal war against Gaza, involving
\nkilling, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement\u2014defying international
\nappeals and the orders of the International Court of Justice to halt the aggression<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This war, backed by
\nthe United States, has resulted in over 198,000 martyrs and wounded, most of
\nwhom are women and children, in addition to thousands of missing persons,
\nhundreds of thousands of displaced individuals, and a famine that has claimed
\nthe lives of many civilians<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
