Mass Protests in
\nArab Capitals Denounce Starvation and Genocide in Gaza, Demand End to Siege<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Several Arab capitals and
\ncities witnessed massive demonstrations and protest rallies on Sunday,
\ncondemning the genocide and starvation war imposed by the Zionist occupation on
\nthe Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, and protesting the international silence
\ntoward the suffering of the Palestinian people.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rabat: Tens of
\nThousands March Against Starvation<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In the Moroccan capital,
\nRabat, tens of thousands participated in a march that started from the historic
\nBab al-Had gate toward the Parliament building. Protesters carried Palestinian
\nflags and banners denouncing the siege and starvation, responding to a call
\nfrom a global movement opposing Israeli-imposed famine.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstrators chanted slogans
\nsuch as \u201cStop the genocide in Gaza\u201d and \u201cPalestine is devastated and the world
\nis a puppet,\u201d criticizing the failure of international institutions to halt the
\nongoing atrocities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nouakchott: In
\nFront of the U.S. Embassy<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In Nouakchott, Mauritanians
\ngathered in front of the U.S. Embassy to protest the starvation war and
\nAmerican support for the occupation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Protesters called for the
\nclosure of the U.S. Embassy and raised slogans condemning the massacres and
\nviolations against Gaza\u2019s residents. The protest saw wide participation from
\npolitical parties, trade unions, and civil society organizations.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ramallah:
\nSolidarity from Within Palestine<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In Ramallah, hundreds of
\nPalestinians demonstrated against the genocide and starvation targeting their
\npeople in Gaza.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Mustafa Barghouti,
\nSecretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, stated that 70,000
\nchildren are at risk of dying from hunger and called on Arab nations to act to
\nbreak the siege.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tunis: \u201cDo Not
\nLeave Gaza Alone\u201d<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

In the Tunisian capital, a
\npopular march was held under the slogan \u201cDo Not Leave Gaza Alone,\u201d organized by
\nthe “Joint Action Coordination for Palestine” in response to a call
\nfrom the resistance.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

The march swept through the
\nstreets of the capital, with participants chanting slogans condemning the
\naggression and siege and affirming full solidarity with Gaza.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hamas Call and
\nAlarming Toll<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The Hamas movement had issued
\na global call for demonstrations on Sunday against genocide and starvation,
\nurging a worldwide \u201ccry of rage\u201d to save the Palestinian people from death by
\nbombardment and famine.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

On the same day, the Ministry
\nof Health in Gaza reported the martyrdom of more than 900 Palestinians \u2013
\nincluding 71 children \u2013 due to hunger and malnutrition, and around 6,000 others
\nwere injured while searching for food. The Zionist occupation has continued to
\nseal all border crossings since March 2, 2025, preventing the entry of
\nhumanitarian aid.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Backed by the United States,
\nthe occupation forces continue their all-out war on Gaza, leaving more than
\n200,000 dead and wounded \u2013 most of them children and women \u2013 and around 9,000
\nmissing, amid an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.<\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
